Meet Alex

Alex brings over 30 years of experience in the automotive world, beginning in dealership environments before moving into professional motorsport. He worked as a racing and development driver alongside some of the world’s top engineers, building deep mechanical and technical expertise across motorsport and the broader automotive industry. His background spans private coaching in sports and race cars, training police in advanced driving programs, and qualifying as a mechanical engineer while also working as an events manager. Alex competed internationally from grassroots karting through Prototypes and GT racing and was recognized with an invitation to the Red Bull F1 Junior Team program. Since qualifying as a race driver coach at Silverstone in 2004, he has coached drivers and instructed corporate clients at premier circuits and private members’ clubs worldwide, most recently at The Concours Club in Miami, while growing his private coaching business, Alex Waters Racing. Known for strong media, marketing, and public speaking skills, Alex has brought global partners into Formula 1 and built an extensive network across and beyond the automotive industry. He now works with Formula 1 as an Expert Host, entertaining and hosting global partners, and collaborates with Red Bull F1 across North American F1 events. Now based in Bozeman, Montana, Alex is establishing Montana’s premier automotive and outdoor adventure social club—featuring a private garage condo development, offices, owners’ lounge, service and maintenance facilities, concierge services, and a curated annual events calendar for members.
